This is a pretty feminine vintage ladies' Japanese furisode juban, or under-kimono, originally made to wear under a furisode kimono.
The fabric is a smooth soft lustrous silk, with bands of white and light orange (a bit deeper than peach).
There are attractive background woven patterns. There is a white han-eri (over-collar). In my opinion this would fit a medium/large size lady (12-14 approx. and probably a 16). The size is adaptable due to the overlapping front.
This juban has traditional very long square sleeves, a wrapover front, and no belt.
I can provide a suitable koshihimo sash or cord for an additional small charge. See my other listings.
This item could be worn as a juban, or would make an elegant and comfortable dressing gown/robe, with any belt or cord. In excellent vintage condition. No major marks or flaws. There are tiny pinholes centre back where a ribbon has been removed. See final photo.
