The pattern is FIDDLE THREAD double struck.
A most sturdy silver flatware lot.
Each is engraved with a nice crest above initial B.
Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely pair of silver sauce ladles of very good gauge and weight.
Each lovely item is 6.625 inches in length.
Assayed in London,1827-year letter m. Maker is silversmith Josiah Piercy.
Definitely one for the collectors!
A truly wonderful early 19th century antique lot well worth owning.
The condition is excellent and all it needs is to be used. Bowls have no wear and are of perfect shape.
Would make a very nice present indeed.
