An original, large-format monochrome photograph depicting Jochen Rindt in the Cooper T81 F1 single seater, ahead of Jackie Stewart in the BRM.
Hand-signed clearly in black ink by both drivers to an unobstructed part of the image. Jochen’s signature is extremely rare and was sometimes little more than a squiggle when rushed, whereas this is a particularly good example, on a fantastic period image.
Size - 20x15cm (large and ideal for framing)
Condition - Good, some handling wear to the corners, light discolouration to right edge.
Provenance - Formerly part of the Peter Stubberfield Collection - the Bugatti racing driver, BRDC committee member and head of the Ferrari Owners Club. For the past two decades, I’ve been involved in the dispersal of many prolific Automobilia collections, first for H&H Classics and later trading myself as Adam Sykes & Co.
All of these autographs are fresh to market and from our personal collection. We are in the process of restoring a 1923 Indianapolis car and with costs spiralling; the difficult decision has been made to sell some of the higher value items.
