A pair of hallmarked sterling silver candlesticks not quite 100 years old. The hallmark bears the maker's mark of the silversmiths Mappin & Webb, the fouled anchor for the Birmingham Assay office and the date letter 'X' for 1922.  The candlesticks stand approximately 130 mm high (5.25") and the base 70 mm in diameter (2.75"). They weigh in total 404 g  and are loaded. One candlestick weighs 204 g and the other 200 g. The hallmark on the slightly heavier one has worn and is barely visible!   The candlesticks are in fair condition overall but with minor scratches and distortions. It is obvious these candlesticks have been used. The slightly heavier candlestick does not stand vertically and has a slight lean.  You can see the condition well in the photos.
