Hi, you're looking at my stunning Art deco flapper necklace. Hand knotted Faceted Glass beads in a beautiful apple green colour. The necklace is extra long- in true flapper style. Flappers of the 1920s were young women known for their energetic freedom, embracing a lifestyle viewed as outrageous and reckless by many at the time. Now they're considered the first generation of independent American women, flappers pushed barriers to economic, political and sexual freedom for women. The iconic dress style is timeless and their wonderful jewellery is still a stunning accessory to any outfit today. This lovely necklace is a wonderful example of that, the perfect accompaniment to a little black dress or more casual dress. Good antique condition, no visible chips or cracks to the beads.
