OLD ANTIQUE FRENCH VIOLIN BY JTL C 1900 4/4. A very attractive old French violin by JTL circa 1900. Labelled JTL with Lyre insignia. The violin is in excellent condition with no cracks, no pegbox cracks, no soundpost cracks and no woodworm. Fully blocked and lined. Length of back is 359mm. Varnish is a lovely orange brown colour. Lovely one piece back. Really well figured wood to back and head. Varnish restoration and cleaning is required. I have provided good photographs of the areas where retouch is needed. Well worthy of restoration. Selling at a very reasonable fixed price. Please contact me if further info or pictures are required. Cost of postage in the UK is £18 inclusive of insurance (royal mail special delivery). Violin will be posted in a case ionside a strong cardboard box.
