History:
Found in 2020 by meteorite hunters in the north of Mali; all material purchased by a consortium of meteorite collectors in 2021.
Physical characteristics: The stones show macroscopically visible brecciation with mm-sized angular and subrounded clasts in a fine-grained yellowish matrix. Some stones show relicts of fusion crust.
Petrography: (K. Metzler, IfP) Monomict achondritic breccia consisting of diogenite clasts (lithic clasts and pyroxene fragments), embedded in fine-grained related debris. Accessories are chromite (up to 800 µm), troilite, and small amounts of terrestrially altered metal.
Geochemistry: Mineral compositions and geochemistry: Pyroxene: Fs27.7±0.5Wo1.5±0.3 (Fs26.8-28.3Wo1.1-2.0); mean Fe/Mn (at.): 28.2; n=11.
Classification: Diogenite (monomict)
