Description
A common chondrite from North West Africa. A chondrite is a stony meteorite that has not been modified (i.e. by melting). They were formed during the creation of the early solar system, 4.6 billion years ago. This meteorite collided with the earth, landing in North West Africa, having been captured by the Earth's gravitational pull.
Many of these meteorites are found by nomads in the sahara desert. This particular meteorite is unclassified.
