This is a fuel cut-off cock used in generators, air compressors, water pumps, pressure washers and other types of small equipment. If you look directly at the globe valve, the plug valve is left ported with the port on the left side. This small cock has a threaded nut type connection designed to screw onto the male valve on the tank. You have to make sure that this style of cock is suitable for your generator. Many small devices of the same model can use either left or right port taps. The oil circuit is connected as long as you have access to the disconnect switch, and it requires an M16 x 1.5MM size threaded connection.
