Be the God of the sea with this striking trident pendant necklace

Neptune or Poseidon are one and the same - just different names for the same God of the sea depending on whether you look at Roman times (when he was called Neptune) or the earlier Greek times when he was better known as Poseidon. Nowadays, we treat the two names as being interchangeable.

In the books and films, Percy Jackson is a demigod - the son of Neptune and the mortal Sally Jackson - and whilst he doesn't often wield a trident, they're not far away from the action.

Historically, as well as being used as weapons by gods, tridents are used for spear fishing and the name derives from the three points of the spear. You won't pierce yourself on the points of this trident but they are sharp enough.

This trident pendant is made from strong but lightweight alloy metal and is coloured antique bronze.

The black cord of the necklace is adjustable and measures approximately 42cm plus 5cm metal chain for adjustment.

The pendant is approximately 35mm diameter.
