Description

Ojewellery designed orchid pendant set with a 0.35ct 6 x 4 natural Mozambique sparkling red natural garnet.

The phalaenopsis aphrodite orchid has popularised in recent years as a long living elegant house plant - mine certainly bring a little extra joy and natural life into my world. 

The design of these encapsulates the elegance through a graceful outline of the orchid set with a central set stone representing the inner petals and orchid colour.  The stone is secured by two prongs at the base - the stamen and a hood representing the curved inner petal.  The gently sculpted highly polished petals are curved slightly to reflect the sparkle of the natural stone.

Both the chain and pendant are finished with a commercial grade rhodium plate to preserve the shine on the jewellery.

Garnets are associated with firey passion, strength, and creativity. They are the birthstone for January.

Natural Red Garnet:

Our Ojewellery natural garnets are a rich red. They are sourced from Mozambique. Cut with a faceted face to optimise the reflection when light hits them, are polished and untreated.

We focus on the supply of elegant, natural, affordable price point gemstones. Garnets are considered an accessible price point semi-precious stone. They have a history of being used in jewellery going back to the bronze age.

Our prices are kept low with a very short supply chain. We design inhouse in Cheshire, UK. Stones are shipped direct to manufacture to be set into our designs, then shipped to Cheshire. Once in Cheshire any final finishing required takes place, jewellery is packed and made ready for sale. Enabling us to offer an accessible way to buy beautiful natural precious stones.

Ojewellery metal stamps: All of our our jewellery is stamped to indicate the fineness of the material it is made from.

Our silver jewellery under 7.78g is stamped with 925 for sterling silver. Our gold items under 1g are marked 375 for 9ct gold.

Our sterling silver items over 7.78g and gold over 1g are sent to be independently verified for metal quality. This is referred to as being assayed. A metal mark, referred to as a hallmarked, is applied as part of the assay process to verify the metal grade. Ojewellery is registered with the Birmingham assay office for this process.

The hallmark is made up of three parts:.

Part one: Our sponsors mark - the letters OJ in a hexagon.

Part two: The metal fineness grade - 925 for sterling silver or 375 for 9ct gold.

Part three: The Birmingham assay logo - an anchor.

Design: Many of our pieces are unique to Ojewellery . We design from our base in Cheshire UK. Founded by a design degree graduate, we work from initial paper sketches and 3D model our designs. Designs are produced with carefully selected production partners to our specification. Our design focus is on using natural gemstones within our pieces to add a little sparkle.

Branding: We have custom designed and branded jewellery boxes and gift bags.  Our Ojewellery bespoke jewellery pieces can be identified by the distinct gemstone set ring emblem that is used on its own or as part of the logo on much of our jewellery. Our Ojewellery hallmarked pieces are stamped with the letters OJ within a hexagon at Birmingham assay

Packaging: All Ojewellery is supplied in new bespoke packaging with an emphasis on every item being a pleasure to receive. Our packaging is designed for postage and with convenience of receipt in mind our parcels will fit through the slimmest letter box so can be delivered even if you can't be in to receive them.

Warranty: We work hard to ensure that build quality is exemplary, so fortunately issues are incredibly rare. Should there be any issues with your jewellery your warranty is with Ojewellery and we are always here to help.

At Ojewellery we are an independent UK jewellery design and retail business. From a humble kitchen table start up, ongoing business growth means that our product range and the level of service we are able to offer continues to evolve. With the support of a fantastic dispatch team we are now providing reliable same day dispatch every working day of the year. We are open seven days a week and often dispatch on Saturday and Sunday.

All jewellery in the Ojewellery store is photographed and where possible video produced inhouse. Delivery

UK delivery is fast and free Postage cut off for same working day dispatch is shown at the top of the listing blow price against the sub-heading delivery. Items are shipped Royal Mail 24 unless specified Royal Mail Special Delivery next day guaranteed by 1pm (typically items over £300). Royal mail 24 items generally arrive next working day but may take longer depending on your location and how busy the sorting office are. This is a barcoded proof of dispatch and proof of delivery service. If you live in a communal building/ have delivery security issues, please select other courier 24 and your item will be sent royal mail 24 with signature required on delivery. If you require guaranteed next day delivery please select the special delivery upgrade option. Special Delivery items require a signature on delivery and will arrive next working day before 1pm with the exception of a few harder to reach locations. An up to date list of postcodes for these locations are available from royal mail.

Returns

Our standard returns policy is 60 days Changed you mind? Just carefully repackage and let us know before posting back so we can keep an eye out for your return and refund on receipt. Something not quite as you expected? Please use eBay messaging to make contact.
