Vintage baby clothes Aertex shirt Cellular Clothing Company 1950s 1930s Coloured. A vintage Aertex baby shirt from the Cellular Clothing Company.Made in England, probably in the 1950s, but possibly late 1930s (just before or just after the Second World War). With the Aertex slogan on the label: "The World's Healthiest Wear". These shirts were very well made, and very good quality. They are unsold shop stock from the mid-20th century. Some still have their original price stickers - they cost 17/6 (seventeen shillings and sixpence), which was a lot of money for a baby garment. Smart "grown-up" design Short sleeves Button front Pointed collar Breast pocket The waist is elasticated, with a "hidden button" on the inside of the waist. There are no garment care labels - please treat as hand wash only. Size: Choice of size - Size 00.........age ROUGHLY 6 months.......actual chest measurement 25".........length, shoulder to hem 14"

These garments are unsold shop stock, from around the 1950s.
Some of them still have their old hand-written price stickers attached, complete with the £sd price.
They cost 17/6 (seventeen shillings and sixpence).
They have been properly stored in the shop, and are in very good condition, as you can see.
They do have some storage marks, as shown.
These will probably come out in the wash, but I cannot guarantee this.
In view of their age, the garments will need to be hand-washed before use, and treated carefully.
