Offered in exceptional condition, especially for a camera which is now around 65-plus years old. (This model is dated circa 1948).
The camera is in fully working order and is finished in the classic Kodak black pin-grain covering.
A original 620 film spool is included with the camera.
Amongst the points of interest are a single speed instantaneous shutter with a soft action button, a brief-time option and a sliding auxiliary lens element to provide either close-up (5 to 10 feet) or a normal setting (10 feet to infinity). The camera has special flash contacts for connecting a Kodak 620 flash bulb unit.
There is also a built-in filter operated by a sliding handle and a special soft-release shutter button, complete with a shutter lock.
Two viewfinders are fitted (Kodak 'brilliant' type), for either landscape and portrait views and a standard Kodak meniscus lens.
The lens accepts the popular 370 fitting range of accessories.
The 620 film size produces eight negatives with a picture size of 2.25 X 3.25 inches.
Two standard tripod bushes are also included for either viewfinder orientation.
Overall, a very fine example of a very collectable vintage camera.
Many thanks for looking.
