This Hornby Dublo model is a replica of the London North Eastern Railway's 0-6-2 Pannier Tank Engine, specifically the LNER N2 9596. The locomotive is painted in black and green corporate livery and has a wheel configuration of 0-6-2. It was manufactured around 1951 and is made of a combination of pressed steel, white metal, brass, and cast iron.


This model steam locomotive is ready to go with an analogue control system and is designed for use with a three-rail system. It is a 1:76 scale model with a gauge of OO, and is suitable for collectors and enthusiasts aged 17 years and up. The item is a great addition to any model railway collection, especially for those interested in the Steam era of the Big Four from 1923 to 1947.


This item was purchased by myself between 2002-2008 it was purchased as a refurnished model and was last running in 2012 before storage in a dry and temperature controlled room where it has remained in its unofficial box. It will likely require (self ) servicing for max performance. The engine is complete and item is sold as working/used but untested. Item is a Hornby - 3 Rail model and enthusiasts can convert to two rail running for the quality of the model or use the shell on another chassis.


Postage is selected for next day delivery from posting and with insurance for loss or damage to the market value of the item rather than standard insurance up to £25 on the other services.
