Luminox Leatherback SEA Turtle Giant ECO #tide Ocean Material Black Dial Black rPET Strap Date Quartz Mens Watch Model# XS.0321.ECO / XS0321ECO With its protected crown balanced by an opposite outcropping, the Leatherback SEA Turtle's case design resembles the shape of a turtle. This Leatherback SEA Turtle Giant was made in partnership with Tide Ocean SA and features a 44 mm #tide ocean material case with a black teak dial with waves motif contrasted by white syringe-style hands and Arabic numerals. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLTs illuminate the watch through its hands and around the sloped flange. This is complemented by a hardened mineral crystal, a uni-directional rotating #tide ocean material bezel with a luminescent bezel pip, and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. Touches of white and red contrast are evident via the dial texts and markers, Luminox shield, recycled logo, hands, date border/background, and bezel. A black rPET textile strap secured by a stainless steel signed buckle completes the tough and tactical look. This watch has a solid caseback inscribed with an engraving of Luminox's and #tide's logos wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 515, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet. Founded in 1989 by American Barry Cohen who envisioned developing high-performance sports watches combined with modern luminescence and legibility. Coined from the Latin words, "Lumi" meaning light, and "Nox" meaning night, Luminox watches are widely recognized for their tagline "Always Visible Technology" which is formally called "Luminox Light Technology" or "LLT". It uses safe tritium-based luminescence tubes which can give a constant glow for up to 25 years. 1992 was the breakout year for Luminox as the Assistant Officer in Charge (AOIC) for Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) for West Coast Navy Seals, Nick North, together with Barry Cohen, worked to develop a watch specifically for the Navy SEALs. This paved the way for Luminox watches to be made for the US Coast Guard, US Air Force, and a variety of other special forces and EMS teams worldwide.

All returns must receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and be returned to WatchesAndBeyond within 30 days of receipt of the original purchase.
